How the new generation envisions the future
Project run by the Boris Nemtsov Foundation for Freedom and supported by the Federal Foreign Office
The Boris Nemtsov Foundation sponsored the study conducted by the Levada-Center that aims to assess expectations about future of personal life and future of their countries among a sample of young people who reside in the biggest Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian cities (1000 respondents in each country). The preliminary results were presented at the Boris Nemtsov Forum held in Prague on October 9–10, 2018.
In early December, 2018 three open discussions were held in Minsk, Lviv and Yekaterinburg as part of the project. The discussions did not only focus on the results of the study, but also on political, cultural and philosophical aspects that determine how young people envision their future. One of the goals of the project is to find common ground and to promote mutual understanding among young people in different countries.
